Our Vision for Better Healthcare
MDS-RHS is a project of Renal Health Services (RHS) a registered charity in Singapore, to serve exclusively the vulnerable populations in Singapore. With its patronage from Maeda Hospital in Japan, MDS RHS is a purblic private partnership aligned with the vision and mission of RHS.
It aims to set a new benchmark for compassionate, innovative, and accessible dialysis care in Singapore. Our purpose is to ensure that every person in need, regardless of financial means or medical complexity, can access treatment that restores dignity, supports independence, and enhances quality of life. Guided by our social mission as a registered charity, we prioritise the medically and financially vulnerable, offering means-tested subsidies and working closely with welfare organisations to reach those most in need.
Drawing on the expertise of Maeda Hospital in Japan and the commitment of Renal Health Services in Singapore, we bring pioneering approaches such as nocturnal dialysis to enable patients to maintain their daily routines and sustain employment. Our facilities, designed with patient comfort, safety, and long-term care in mind, reflect both Japanese innovation and Singaporean standards of excellence. In everything we do, we are committed to patient-centred care that delivers not only medical treatment, but also respect, comfort, and hope for every individual we serve.

With over a century of commitment to dialysis treatment—launched in 1989, and later expanded with a full Kidney Center in 1994—Maeda Hospital has established a reputation for precision, safety, and compassionate care.
